London Garden with decking

The clients had inherited an interesting long and narrow site with a half filled in pond and poorly maintained lawn; they wished to have a garden in which they could entertain and relax in that was low maintenance. They were keen on decking so we made a series of rooms with a walkway in between to accommodate for larger areas of planting while installing some inbuilt seating for dining and entertaining.

The planting plan involved keeping some of the existing trees and shrubs for structure planting and incorporating a mix of grasses and perennials ensuring all year round interest.
