The clients for this garden had just converted their basement so lost a part of their garden to sky lights and they wanted to reclaim the rear of their garden by getting rid of a huge redundant shed and making the most of the evening sunshine. So we put in porcelain paving to match their new paving and put in raised planting beds with inbuilt hard wood seating.
We painted all the fencing a dark grey and put some battening screening with a bespoke gate at the rear. The lawn was proving a challenge to maintain so we put in fake grass. So the garden is now a space for all – relaxing and dining for all and practical for ball games and the trampoline! The planting is a mix of evergreen trees, shrubs and climbers for structure as well as a mix of bulbs, grasses and perennials for all year round interest.
