Upper Tooting Park Garden

To maximise the space, we put in rendered raised planters and in-built seating. Not only did they wish to have a contemporary feel to their garden, because of their love for the coastline, they wanted to echo this feeling in some way.   This was a great opportunity to incorporate sea cobbles with the gabion cage seating and also use the cobbles in the border stone to go alongside the slate paving.

On a practical level we incorporated a stainless steel opening for their whirly gig! For the planting we put in olive trees, Ilex balls and lavender for structure and put in bulbs and perennials for all year round interest as well as herbs for their raised herb bed. Wall lights and mobile spike spot lights have been installed to uplight the planting.
